Here is a step-by-step guide I have devised to “get yourself out there” in the community. Step 1. Get a Twitter. Put your YT link in the description box.Step 2. Follow people you find interesting on Twitter.Step 3. Wait for a moment of random bullcrap to happen.Step 4. Randomly chime in.Step 5. Keep a conversation up for a bit, enough for them to find you interesting and will check out your channel.Step 6. Let nature take its course. It’s normal to feel like you don’t fit into a community, especially if people have 2-3 years of bonding time ahead of you. But as everyone has been saying, if you really don’t insert yourself into the community, you won’t be able to create the bonds you want. Most everyone is open to making friends, and will welcome you with open arms. I wish you luck in putting your foot forward and hope to see you around the community :)

I’m kind of scared of youtube(´Д` ) but there are nice people around, just comment on their videos, maybe reply to a tweet, introduce yourself, and I’m sure you’ll make friends…somehow. It’s how I’ve found friends on NND who will talk to me on Skype until 4 in the morning, listen to my fail!harmonising, encourage me when I’m feeling down, tease me (“sing shoushitsu” requests when I do housou, etc.), reply to my tweets, volunteer to help me encode videos (which I fail at, totally). It just takes a step of faith.

This is good advice
